As daylight fades, guests will follow a guided, lantern-lit walk through one of Saluda’s oldest cemeteries, stopping along the way to meet some of the individuals who helped shape our community. Through research and historical interpretation, costumed volunteers will bring these stories to life and introduce visitors to the people, families, and traditions that remain an important part of Saluda’s history.
This is not a haunted attraction. Rather, it is an opportunity to experience local history in a respectful and engaging setting while supporting the future Historic Saluda Museum.
Refreshments will be served in the fellowship hall following the tour.
Recommended for ages 10 and older. Children are welcome but must remain with a parent or guardian at all times.
For safety reasons, candles, oil lanterns, and other open flames are not permitted. Battery-operated lanterns, flashlights, and other flameless lighting devices are welcome.
Inclement weather will result in postponement. A new date will be announced.
Space is limited, and a limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
