Honey Tasting & Bee Yard Tour

Go beyond the jar with an immersive journey into the world of the honeybee. From a sommelier-led tasting to a hands-on hive inspection, this is a deep dive into the art, science, and secrets of nature’s most incredible pollinators.

The Experience

A Sensory Honey Tasting: Explore a flight of local and global honeys using all five senses. You’ll learn to identify the depth and specific flavor notes of high-quality honey, just like a wine tasting.

Into the Bee Yard: Suit up in a professional bee suit for a guided hive inspection. You’ll observe the inner workings of a live colony and see the queen and her workers in action.

Gourmet Pairing: Savor a chef-curated charcuterie lunch from Newman’s Restaurant, accompanied by a complimentary glass of craft beer or wine.

What You’ll Learn

The “Real Honey” Masterclass: Honey is one of the most counterfeit products in the world. We’ll teach you how to spot adulterated honey and how to choose high-quality, authentic honey at the store.

Pollinator Insights: Gain a new perspective on bee behavior, honey production, and the vital role these creatures play in our ecosystem.
