Experience the magic of Tuscany at Christmastime on this intimate European Intensive adventure. Based in the charming town of Sansepolcro, Meredith’s home in Italy, we’ll explore the region’s rich art, history, food, and holiday traditions, from Piero della Francesca’s masterpieces to Siena’s enchanting Mercato nel Campo Christmas market. Discover the medieval village of Anghiari and visit the renowned Busatti textile workshop before continuing to Arezzo for its festive Christmas celebration. Enjoy leisurely time to experience Sansepolcro like a local, along with a wine tasting and cooking class, before concluding our journey in Florence, where a city of Renaissance treasures and Tuscan charm await. With a blend of guided excursions and free time to wander, shop, dine, and soak up the holiday atmosphere, this is a wonderful way to experience the beauty of Tuscany in a truly special season.
