Kids@CAM: Native American Heritage Day & Sensory Hour
Saturday, November 21, 2026 | 9 AM–12 PM
Reception Hall and Galleries
Celebrate Native American Heritage Day at CAM with a special morning of art, storytelling, and family-friendly activities! Join Cherokee artist Beth Anderson for hands-on artmaking inspired by Cherokee culture and traditions, including an exploration of the Cherokee syllabary, a unique writing system in which symbols represent syllables rather than individual letters.
Kids@CAM welcomes the whole family, with creative activities designed for a variety of ages. Families can also enjoy a guided gallery tour at 11:30 AM. Join us for the artmaking, the tour, or both!
For families who would benefit from a quieter museum experience, CAM offers an early-access Sensory Hour beginning at 9 AM.
