Weaving Workshop

On Saturday, November 14 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m., join Island Farm for a hands-on workshop to learn the basics of weaving! The cost for this workshop is $30 per person; advance online registration is required. Instructors will work individually with workshop participants to create a trivet or “mug rug”, using foundational weaving techniques that can be built upon. Participants will receive a weaving kit and will leave the workshop with a completed project. Included in the workshop cost is general admission to Island Farm, and a take-home weaving kit that can be re-used for future projects. All activities will take place in a historic building on-site, and will be held rain or shine. Refunds are available in the case of cancellation by Island Farm. This workshop is geared towards those aged seventeen and older. To register, visit www.obcinc.org
