Join staff from the North Carolina Museum of Art to celebrate America 250 by exploring the wonders of iconic natural and rustic landscapes across the United States.
In the Moment: Cultural Activities for the Memory Community is a new program series designed for those living with memory changes and their care partners that inspires collective engagement with a wide breadth of topics, ranging from the arts to the diversity of life on earth. On the second Friday of each month, participants are given the opportunity to take part in meaningful interactions, express their unique perspectives, and broaden their horizons, all while learning from a variety of cultural institutions based in NC.
While always hosted at the NCMA, In the Moment is coordinated and supported by multiple organizations within the North Carolina Department of Natural and Cultural Resources (DNCR), including the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences, the North Carolina Museum of History, and the North Carolina Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
In the Moment programs for November–February are themed America 250.
