Troutman Gobbler Run 5K

Get ready to lace up for a cause this Thanksgiving Day at the first annual Troutman Gobbler Run 5K — proudly presented and sponsored by the Troutman Ruritan Club!

This brand-new community tradition invites runners and walkers of all ages to kick off their holiday with a healthy, festive 5K through Troutman. When you participate, you’re doing more than earning an extra slice of pumpkin pie — all proceeds go directly back into the Iredell community to pay unpaid tech fees for Iredell-Statesville school students experiencing financial hardship and supporting vital local initiatives such as:

• Student Scholarships

• Community Service Projects

• Family Assistance

• Domestic Violence Support

• Elderly Assistance

• School Tech Fees for Students

Join your neighbors, make lasting holiday memories, and help us build a stronger Iredell County — one step at a time!

🦃 What Every Gobbler Gets:

• A sweet turkey finisher medal to proudly wear at the dinner table

• An exclusive race shirt featuring a turkey who clearly realized what day it is — basically a tuxedo for Thanksgiving

• A swag bag filled with treats and snacks

Same-day registration will be available. Tshirt cutoff 10/31.

🏆 Awards:

• Overall Top 3 Male and Female runners

• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals in each age category (male & female)

• Age categories will be determined after registration begins based on participation number

Whether you’re running for a personal best or strolling for the stuffing, we can’t wait to see you at the starting line. Let’s make this Thanksgiving one to remember! 🦃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️

**As always, we will be accepting non-perishable food donations for the Troutman pantry.
