Sensory Playtime - Dunn

Step into a world of wonder and discovery with Sensory Playtime, specially designed for our littlest explorers! Your babies and toddlers will embark on a hands-on adventure that is as educational as it is thrilling. Every month, our room transforms into a vibrant landscape of textures and sights crafted to spark curiosity and build crucial early literacy skills.

This Month – Pumpkins, Harvests, and Spider Webs: Get ready to explore, squish, scoop, and discover at Sensory Playtime with a special celebration of the sights and textures of fall! Our room is transforming into an autumn adventure where little ones can dive into the magic of the harvest season through pumpkins, nature-inspired sensory experiences, and a spooky (but fun!) spider web exploration. Through engaging, themed sensory bins, babies and toddlers will practice pouring, sorting, grasping, and exploring new textures while building the essential fine motor skills they need for future writing and reading.

This is more than just playtime; it is a joyful, messy, and magical space where imagination takes flight and milestones are celebrated. Grown-ups will leave with wonderful memories and fantastic, easy ideas for extending the learning and fun at home. Grab your little one and come ready to giggle, explore, and grow together at the library!
